Synopsis:
Boeing Boeing is a comedy/farce written by French playwright Marc Camoletti in 1960. Set in the 1960s, the play follows a bachelor named Bernard, who is visited by his befuddled friend Robert. Bernard lives in Paris with his grumpy housekeeper Berthe. By carefully juggling schedules, Bernard is dating three airline stewardesses on three separate schedules, without anyone knowing of the others. However, hijinks ensue when inclement weather and a new, faster model of Boeing jet throws off Bernard's careful planning. Robert, Bernard, and Berthe scramble to hide the women from each other by making up increasingly desperate lies, and when that fails, by ushering them in and out of the apartment's several bedrooms. Boeing Boeing is chaotic and silly, allowing comedic actors to shine with fast-paced dialogue and lots of physical comedy.
